Since 2003, the Gala Émergence has been an annual celebration of inclusion and diversity, honoring individuals and organizations making a real impact. More than a ceremony, it serves as a powerful platform for awareness and collective action, driving the movement toward a more respectful and inclusive society.

La Fondation Émergence célèbre ses 25 ans avec le Gala Émergence, le 17 octobre au Théâtre St-James. Une soirée immersive sous le thème « De l’ombre à la lumière ». Caregiver support
In Quebec, it’s estimated that more than 1 in 3 adults is a caregiver, which means that this reality concerns almost everyone at some point in their lives. Fondation Émergence offers support to better understand the realities of LGBTQ+ people in informal caregiving situations.
Combating conversion therapies
Since 2022, conversion therapy has been recognized as a criminal offence in Canada, and Fondation Émergence is involved in efforts to raise awareness of this crime, and the serious consequences it causes.

For Fondation Émergence, a key objective remains: to educate, inform, and raise awareness about the realities of individuals who identify with sexual diversity, and plurality of gender identities and expressions.
